Beautiful Wife
Ah, yes, how does she do it all? Mother, wife, partner in City law firm, dedicated shopper, international woman of mystery (well, sort of...). I shall spare my beloved wife's blushes by just sticking to the facts, though the occasional amusing features may slip in.
Caterina is probably the most relentlessly urban person I have ever met. Accordingly, I was rather surprised on a trip to the Philippines to learn that she is rather a good kayaker, of all things.
Handbags
One of my beloved's passions is handbags - this year alone, blush, for shame's sake, woman, we have had:
- A tan Kelly bag
- A large Navy Birkin bag
- A black Trim bag
- A small black Birkin
And this was only to add to the assorted collection of bags from Tod's, Gucci, Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Chanel etc etc (I drew the line at a particularly hideous yellow pony-skin bag from Fendi and it was sold on, at vast loss).
Shoes
Not for nothing is Mrs Patten known as the Imelda Marcos of Bloomsbury. A picture of her shoe cupboard will be posted shortly.
Sergio Rossi is a current favourite, replacing Fratelli Rossetti (many years ago), Ferragamo, Gucci, Hermes and Tod's, as the number one choice.
